BARSAAT revolves around a love story involving three young people. They caught in a convolution of love over which they have no control.

Each of them is possessive about his or her relationship and yet selfless. Their love story is quite unpredictable like their nature and behavior. They are full of contradictions yet they are compassionate.

Arav (Bobby Deol) is ambitious and he wants to come up in life at any cost. He has the guts to leave home to give his future a better shape. He goes to abroad seeking his fortune. However, he drops the plan and rush back on hearing his father is unwell.

Kajal (Priyanka Chopra) believes that love is a gentle shower of emotions. Her love is optimistic and romantic. It is selfless. She knows that her faith in love will stand the test of time.

barsaat2 (21K) For Anna (Bipasha Basu) love is like lightning. Her love is impulsive and obsessive. She is ready to take on anything to achieve his goal i.e., love. She is ready to face anything that comes in her way.

All three is caught in the storm of love and they face it according to their respective attitudes towards love. Whatever be the problem, there is always a hope of solution.

Things will change for good. That’s what Arav, Anna and Kajal believe. It is this faith that makes them live. Today they face the darkness but they firmly believe that they would soon witness sunshine and happiness in life.

It is a story with hope. It is also the story that gives a lot of hope.

There was a scene where priaynka was asking to translate every english word to hindi , first she asked about happy boby said khushi she accepted then she asked divorce boby said talaq immedietely she reacted talaq is a urdu word there is no hindi word for divorce b'coz we do not have that culture, first of all for the dialogue write & director kind information khushi itself is an urdu word hindi is "prasan" second which culture suneel darshan is talking about filmi guy he sleep with many women he almost divorce his own wife i saw him flirting with the juniour artist and rascal is talking about culture filmi people do not have culture at all accept few like shahrukh and sunil dutt, he hurt the sentiments of ours, can he make a movie without urdu he is a mean guy. FILM MUST BE A FLOP I PRAY
