Tum - A Dangerous Obsession is an erotic thriller.

Kamini Gupta (Manisha Koirala) is a beautiful and desirable housewife. She is married to Vinod Gupta (Rajat Kapoor), a CEO of a multinational company. Gupta is very much a family man and an ideal partner.

However, there is a hitch in their relationship. Vinod is not devoting adequate time for Kamini and Kamini feels so bad about it. Vinod feels guilty and wants to do something about it.

He decides to take her up to Mauritius to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Just before the arrival of the weeding day, he happens to be in London on a business trip. So they decide to meet in Mauritius. Kamini is to leave from Mumbai and he from London.

However Vinod does not turn up at Mauritius on time. Kamini is terribly disappointed and depressed.

At this point of time, she happens to meet a young photographer called Jatin Pandey (Karan Nath). Jatin is a successful photographer with a unique style of functioning. He has the ability to convince people to do anything. He goes after what he wants and gets it.

He finds Kamini in the island and gives her company on the eve of her wedding day. Kamini spends most of her day with Jatin. They drink, dine and dance together. Kamini gets drunk and Jatin takes her to her room.

In the morning she finds Jatin in her bed.

Vinod arrives the same evening, and Kamini wants to reveal the truth to him. However, to avoid upsetting him, she decides to hide the matter.

Jatin follows Kamini in Mumbai and becomes friendly with her entire family. Kamini wants to forget what happened in the island but she just cant resist the attraction towards Jatin.

The attraction turns into an obsession.

What happens next?

The plot is good. Casts are okay. As a whole it is a workable movie. It could be a good movie if following flaws were not there: 1. A strong reason for Manisha to be seduced by the fashion photographer. It seemed a little hasty, though it happens sometimes. 2. The funny constable was unneccessarily funny at serious moments. 3. The fashion photographer wanted Manisha for another one night only. Too less for a passionate man.
